A simple rope ladder, known for the game “Klondike” has a wide range of applications. The device is used during the evacuation, and during the rescue operation or performing different types of work at height. - maximum weight is 20 kg.

The difference of the devices for the evacuation of patients from LAN 10 is the presence of 4-5 bars of wood and use of inextensible rope, calculated on the weight of 130 kg and above.

Rope model may be an excellent trainer for the baby. It is often a part of children’s sports corners. These classes help develop a child’s coordination. If the baby ladder is hung vertically, its lower end should be fixed.
Stairs, as in “Klondike,” are very useful in everyday life: to climb to the attic or clean the wells. When folded, they occupy a minimum of space in the house; it is not difficult to find a place for storage. You can make a rope with your own hands for servicing wells.
Rungs of the ladder can be done not only of wood but also of light metal alloys, plastic or of the same rope and string.
Materials for the manufacture of stairs with your own hands

In the case of steps, you can make a crossbar out of wood. However, they are carefully polished to knots and other irregularities. This is necessary to prevent injury. If a rope ladder becomes a part of the gameplay of the playset, a slat can be built with your own hands out of the rope itself (in this case, there can be not one but multiple series) or you buy ready-made plastic pieces. Another option is a bar of aluminum alloy.
A simple algorithm of work

- First, you need to prepare a bowstring and steps. Step back from the edge of the rails about 7 cm, and make small gashes with a knife. The ends of the rope are scorched, so it will not be dismissed.
- You can now begin to mount the steps. Do it first with one hand. The crossbar is fixed, tying knots “constrictor.” To execute them, view instructional videos and photos (above). Stepping back about 30 cm, make the knots and secure the next stage.
