Ladders are needed for a stationary pool in the room or a portable one which is installed in the warm time of year in the fresh air on a country station. This feature allows bathers to go down into the water and then climb on the pavement or lawn, where it is installed. Ladder for Intex pool meets all the safety requirements and comfort.

Ladder for inflatable or frame pools “Intex”

If you are going to build your pool, you will be puzzled by choice of:

  • buying “the original” ladder from a reputable manufacturer of pools of the company “INTECH” (photo via the picture below), if this bowl for bathing is installed in the suburban area;
  • ask a friend to build this design with steps;
  • or, finally, make it with your own hands.

In the first case, swimming pool ladder for the frame or inflatable pools is a fairly simple, stable, compact design which looks like an ordinary ladder. The ends of its legs, located in the water, are protected by special lugs, through which the bottom doesn’t receive damage. A similar design is shown in the photo below. Support is outside of the bowl, which is often set at 76 inches in depth, mounted on a special platform, or even just a lawn, equipped with the same covers.

Inflatable swimming pool “Intex” (“Easy Set,” depth 76 cm) has a ladder, made of aluminum, resistant to corrosion. It is equipped with comfortable railing, the belayer from falling off, plastic steps, which prevent slipping, especially when getting out of the water, thus protecting tourists from injury.
Another model is “Pool Ladder,” which is designed for pools with a depth of 107 cm (also for 76 and 91 cm), both inflatable and frame. It’s easy to mount — you only need one screwdriver. The frame is made of durable metal; the stairs are made of quality plastic. It will not be difficult for both children and adults to get them. Of course, this lift will become an impregnable fortress for the disabled. The optimal variant for them will be the descent into the bowl, not the sunset top.

Rubberized stairs, fixed legs, comfortable handles — safe bathing in the pool with a depth of 107 cm

It is important to note that the stairs to the frame (inflatable) pools have low weight – just over eight pounds. They are designed for different loads, that is, the body weight of the person, who will step on them is 100 kg (bowl depth 76 cm), 150 kg (107 cm).

Ladders for deep swimming pools (outdoors or indoors)

Wealth allows you to equip the local pool on private land or even in a residential home. It can be deeper than the considered frame pool (76 cm, 107 cm or 122 cm even). This will allow you to jump into it, causing a fountain of spray. After swimming, it’s time to get out of the water. Climbing to the rim is much easier if the pool has a ladder.

The depth of the swimming pool detects the kind of mounted ladder: stainless with handrails or the so-called “Roman” variant, absolutely gorgeous — with a certain amount of steps, going underwater to a depth of more than 107 centimeters (see photo below). Both varieties can be set with your own hands.
If you want to make the ladder with your own hands, you will have to polish metal tubes and welding. This will give rigidity to the final structure with handrails, treads, and certain size risers.

Roman steps make the unusual pool entourage. The number of steps that can be covered with decorative mosaics is determined by the depth of the swimming facilities (76 or 107 centimeters). This design is made of fiberglass and equipped with handrails, which is comfortable to hold, especially the disabled or children when they go down to the water.

Materials for stairs that are installed in the bath

Important:

The service life of wooden stairs will be longer, if you use the swelling of wood: larch, ash or tropical wenge, which are resistant to moisture.

Stone steps (mostly from granite or quartzite) are suitable for Turkish baths. Metal ladders, if they are manufactured from stainless steel, will not corrode, darken and deform.

Ladder for bathroom

This decision is primarily for the elderly. Such a ladder is installed in the bathroom for the disabled with their hands.

Its production requires:

  • rope made of synthetic fibers (length 2.5 m);
  • wooden slats;
  • mounting hooks, which are, in fact, similar to the rope ladder to the wall.

If people with disabilities cannot do the work, it is necessary to invite the master. They can attach the ladder with their skillful hands for the bathroom; then it will be much easier for disabled people to take a shower and maintain good hygiene.
Alternatively, people with disabilities and children can install a handrail for a bathtub, that they will greatly facilitate hygienic procedures, as in the photo in the right.
Such handrails will protect children, disabled people and the elderly when leaving the bath

A ladder is a very useful design, wherever it leads. It’s easy to go up and down. On our website, we are eager to read your stories about your way to find a solution when you made this design for the pool or the bath.
